Jaragua Peak Tour

Jaragua Jaragua Peak (Highest mount in the city - Trails - Belvedere). Outdoor enthusiasts will love hiking along the Atlantic Forest all way up to São Paulo’s highest peak where ones can boast the most magnificent viewpoint in town in contrast with nature.
The park has approximately five hectares in area, is one of the last remnants of Atlantic Forest vegetation in urban areas of the city.
The Jaragua State Park has trails leading to the peak of 1,135 meters and the gazebo, where the view of the São Paulo city and surrounding areas is worth the ride. Along the way you can see, besides lakes and springs, wild animals in their natural habitat. You can either reach the Jaragua Peak through road by car or by trails.
The Jaragua peak often best remembered for having several television antennas on its peak, it means no loss of its beauty, it is still one of the postcards of the city of São Paulo and reference point. The area has also facilities for adults and children such as barbecues, courts, playgrounds, hostel, cafeteria, pavilion and amphitheater available to the visitor.
